I Didn’t Choose This. It Chose Me.
I didn’t start ChampionDogs.ch because I wanted to make money. I started because I saw suffering.
I still remember the moment that changed me forever. I was scrolling through social media, half-distracted, when I saw a post. A woman was desperately asking for help to save a German Spitz from certain death. That stopped me cold. I messaged immediately, asked what was happening, and learned the brutal truth: the dog had been illegally brought into Switzerland with fake papers and was scheduled for euthanasia.
I know ignorance has a price — but it should never be paid by an innocent dog.
That day, I decided I’d do everything to stop things like this from happening again — or at least to give people a chance to avoid such a tragedy.
A Mission That Saved Me, Too
People often think I saved dogs. And I did. But here’s something they don’t know: this mission saved me, too.
Before ChampionDogs.ch, I worked in a field that drained my spirit. Burnout hit hard. I was doing something that went against my nature, my heart. When I turned to helping dogs, when I began uniting them with the right families, I didn’t just change jobs — I found healing and purpose. This is work I do because my soul needs it.
What Ethical Breeding Really Means
Responsible breeding isn’t glamorous. It’s sleepless nights delivering puppies. Vet appointments, health tests, genetic screenings. Saying no to buyers who don’t pass the vetting process.
At ChampionDogs.ch, I work only with breeders who meet my strict ethical criteria: ✅ Bred to FCI standards. ✅ Health tested. ✅ Socialized from day one. ✅ Matched carefully to the right home.
Sometimes, families come just because their 4- or 5-year-old wants a dog. But a child can’t care for a dog or understand responsibility. And we all know how quickly children’s wishes change. Unfortunately, I sometimes have to refuse families when I feel this is the only reason — it’s not easy, but it’s my duty to protect the dog’s future.
When a Match Feels Just Right
My work is not about knowing every dog’s first bark or first steps, because I am not their breeder — I am the person who helps connect people to the right breeders and guide them in choosing the right dog. This is work with purpose, and the love that comes back to me when I see people leaving happy, in love with the dog we helped them find, is my biggest reward. And yes — I cry every time they leave.
My commitment doesn’t end when they go to their families. I offer lifetime advice, health guarantees, and one clear promise: if you can’t keep them, they come back to me.
The Dark Side I Fight Against
In the world of dog breeding and sales, there’s a dark side: puppy mills, backyard breeders, fake papers, irresponsible sales. It kills dogs — many never even make it to an owner, ending up in quarantine and ultimately euthanized. Cheap puppies come with hidden illnesses, trauma, unstable temperaments. The fallout lands in shelters, vet clinics, and broken hearts.
That’s why I speak up. That’s why ChampionDogs.ch isn’t just a name — it’s a shield against all this.
Real Stories That Stay With Me
🐾 Baxter, the oversized German Spitz: He was returned at six months because the family split up. I took him back, no questions asked — and found him a loving new home.
Every dog, every story matters to me.
My Advice to Future Owners
✅ Do your homework. Check the breeder. Ask questions. Visit. Demand transparency.
✅ Be honest about your lifestyle. Not every breed fits every home.
✅ Commit, heart and soul. This isn’t just a pet — it’s a 10–15 year relationship.
✅ Be ready to give back: love, training, patience, time.
✅ Don’t rush — the right dog is worth the wait.
Why I’ll Never Stop
Why do I keep doing this? It’s hard, it’s emotional, it’s never-ending. Because they deserve it. Every one of them. They deserve someone to stand behind them. And I will stand — as long as I can.
Why ChampionDogs.ch Isn’t Just a Name
ChampionDogs.ch isn’t about perfect dogs or fancy breeding. It’s about a promise. A promise to breed responsibly, match carefully, and support for life.
When you come to me for a dog, you’re not just getting a puppy. You’re becoming part of a family that stands for something bigger. At the heart of it all? Me — standing behind every dog, every step of the way.
